Guide
Hello Guys. In this Guide you will learn how to build and play the Toothpick and Shield properly. As a Tank Weapon, it has not high Damage output on itself. Building only around aggroing and tanking monsters in rifts is possible but then you lack damage and often still die because you need a healer to tank that much damage of a rifts boss. So we look to tank many adds (small to middle sized monsters) to get that weapon passive active as many times as possible. To tank bosses you either need some healing actives from teammates or an active healer but then you lack damage. Better is to just switch with the others to tank the boss.PASSIVES:Cactus Charm:
As we need to tank damage to fill our weapon's passive bar, we take 25% less damage through our weapon. In Combination with Cactus charm we can reflect absurd much damage through that. I cleared Heavy bombardement only with the charm, just so you can understand how absurd strong that is xD.Healthy Snack:
Even if we take less damage 'cause of our weapon, we still need a lot of Health to tank enough to not die. So we Double down on Health with Healthy Snack and Rings.Gadget Battery:
Everytime we use a Gadget, we Zap an enemy with the Gadget Battery. To make this work as good as possible we only have Gadgets with low Cooldowns.GADGETS:Monster Taser:
A single target damage gadget with the lowest cooldown out of all gadgets. If you absolutely despite Monster Taser, you can use whatever damage gadget you want but remember: we want to trigger Gadget Battery as much as possible. So choose wisely :) Cd: 6sVery Mean Pendant:
A bit of additional healing and small AoE damage. Has also a low Cooldown. Cd: 10sRevitalizing Mist:
Good source of healing and provides support for the team. I don't know if it also triggers Gadget Battery but even if not, it is still good for it's healing. (Edit: It does work :D) Cd: 8sRINGS:Major Health Ring:
Increases our health and our incoming healing. Why not Bulk Ring as it provides more health? Because we need that healing bonus to maintain healthy. You heal very well with it, in fact I never died in worlds with it.Major Passive Ring (Pulse Ring):
As we want to deal most of our damage through the Cactus Charm and Gadget Battery, we want to increase that damage even further. Better for this slot is the Pulse Ring as it provides more passive damage increase in the loss of a bit crit rate for the passives. (I just can't get this ring ;-; )Minor Healing Ring:
Increses our health and our healing. Remember, this only includes our DONE healing. not all incoming healing. Healing from other won't be buffed by it. but we still want it to boost the healing of Very Mean Pendant and our Revitalzing Mist.Well that's it for this Guide. Remember ACTIVATE YOUR GADGETS ON COOLDOWN! You will lose a lot of damage if you don't. I hope you like this Build. Pls like if you do. Cya^^
